Shopping Process

To help you understand the online shopping process we've outlined it step by step:

1. Find what you'd like to buy

   You'll need to be in Jen's On-line Store to see the product ranges. Browse through the different ranges.

   You add an item to your shopping basket by clicking the 'Buy Now' button beside that item.

2. The pop-up shopping basket

   Once you've clicked the 'add to the basket' button you'll see a new little browser window open - this is your shopping basket.

   You can:

   1. buy the items in your basket by clicking 'Go to Payments'
   2. return to the online store by clicking anywhere on the main browser window by adding another item to your basket).
   3. change product quantities - the basket will add up the totals for you.

3. Purchase now

   When you've finished shopping, click on the'Go to Payments' ' button in your shopping basket window. You will enter a secure part of the site. This means that any information you send about yourself, your order or your credit card will be encrypted so that only we can read it. You should see a lock or a key at the bottom of your browser window. If you don't or can't get into this part of the site see our Secure Shopping section for more details.

4. Check your order

   At this stage you will see all of the details of your order at the top of the shopping basket window, and a form to collect your details below. Please check your order carefully, before proceeding. If you want to change any of the details of the products you're ordering, click the 'update order' button.

5. Enter your billing and delivery details

   You'll be asked to enter your name, billing details and shipping details. You will also be asked to enter an email address. This is very important as we will send a confirmation email to you. It's another way we try to safeguard your security. We respect your right to privacy, we won't give your private information to anyone else. (read more about privacy)

6. Enter your credit card details

   You will be asked to enter your credit card details. Because you are in a secure part of the site your details will be encrypted as they pass over the internet. We have the key that can unlock your details.

7. Send Your Order

   Finally click the 'purchase now' button to place your order. You will immediately get a message to say that your order was sent. We'll also send you a confirmation email, so keep an eye out for it. If there are any problems with the order you can email us back.

   
   

Delivery

We do our best to process your order as quickly as possible. The cost of shipping an order outside of New Zealand is NZ$10.00 per order, no matter what the size. For all New Zealand orders freight is free. Please note that freight will automatically appear as a charge on your order. This is not taken in the case of a New Zealand delivery address.

New Zealand orders

Your order is couriered and you should receive your order within five working days.

Your order will be shipped by standard airmail. We can't guarantee a delivery time but it should take no more than 21 days to get to you. In most cases it will take less.

Please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country.

You, the customer, are liable for any charges for customs clearance or applicable taxes. As each country has different customs regulations and taxes, we suggest you contact your local customs office for more information.

Secure Shopping

Security is an issue when shopping over the internet. The secure parts of our site (the shopping basket payment pages) are protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This means that your private details including your address and credit card number are encrypted before they are sent over the internet.

In order for the SSL security to work you must use an SSL enabled browser. Most browsers do support SSL but if you can't see the pages where you're asked for your personal details then you'll need to upgrade your browser. Browser updates are available to download free from:

If you still feel unsure about ordering online then you can post, fax or phone your order through. (print an order form)

Your Privacy Online

At Jennifer Pudney Ltd we believe in the right to privacy. This means we won't sell or exchange names or any other information about our online customers with other companies or organisations. In order to improve our customer service we do keep track of customer details and purchasing histories and may at times use them to offer you special deals or to keep you up to date with our latest products and services.
